MY NAME IS HASAN KOCA

Hasan Koca was born in 1990 in Burdur/Turkey. He completed elementery school in Burdur and his art career got started with his acceptance to Painting depatment in Isparta High School of Fine Arts. During this period, he had shown his personal paintings in galaries three times. First Steps (Burdur/2006), Leaks (Isparta/2007), Reflection (Isparta/2008).

2008 he was accepted into Textile and Fashion Design department at Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts as the third highest ranking student. 

2010 while he was studying, he had the chance of working with designer Ümit Ünal and he completed his internship in Ümit Ünal's atelier.

2012 he successfully graduated from Marmara University and he won recognition in fashion circles by launching his first leather accessories collection titled ‘Androjen’.

2013 he opened his first boutique 'Hasan Koca Store' in Tunel (Taksim). The same year he introduced his first collection of unisex garments and accessories titled 'Line' into the world of fashion.

2014 he launched his second collection of unisex garments and accessories titled 'Triangle'. 2015 Hasan Koca exhibited this collection in his own style under the roof of Galeri Bu.

2015 “Hasan Koca Flagship Store” was opened.

2015 he became a member of "Shoe and Accessory Designers Association of Turkey" he exhibited his 2016 spring/summer leather accessories and bag collection at AYMOD Area.

2016 he joined the 26^th international Istanbul art fair with a piece criticizing “social media”. March 30^th 2016 he was invited to Isparta-Süleyman Demirel university, fashion design department where he held a conference. In the same year he launched his spring/summer 2017 men and women collection called “be free”. And finally he moved the store in Galata to a new showroom in Nişantaşı where besides the ready to wear collection he started taking custom orders.

2017 on march 30^th he held a conference about “career planning in fine arts” for students and parents of Isparta Highschool of fine arts. Between 8^th and 12^th November 2017 he took part in an exhibition of the 2th Design Week Turkey, with the name “Genetic codes of Turkish Design”.

2018 on march 30^th at Marmara university faculty of fine Arts he held a conference with the title “career planning in the fashion industry”; Participated at shopping festival in EMAAR Mall

2018 on April 5^th Hasan Koca was invited to Zanzibar by the government, where he gave a workshop on how to create a collection with the country’s ethnic fabrics, this workshop was for mothers whom had to raise their children without fathers.

2018 June 6^th to august 15^th he participated in a art exhibition in EYE-D Karaköy, called “Reflection”

2019 January 11^th he exhibited at Messe Frankfurt under the series “Genetic codes of Turkish Design”

2019 January 15^th “IZ” exhibition and Pop-up Store at Trump Mall Art Gallery

2019 January 15^th to February 15^th he thought “using and interpreting trend resources” at “Istanbul Moda Akademisi” 

2019 January 20^th he held a “Fashion and Career” conference at Istanbul Aydin University 

2020 January 1th-6^th under the coordination of the turkey introduction group “Genetic codes of Turkish Design” he joints an exhibition with his bag designs at Istanbul airport international departures area.

2021 September 9th Turkey Woven Atlas Exhibition  organized by ITHIB and “Sabancı Olgunlaşma Enstitüsü” at the Presidential Palace of Turkey

2022 April 4th Capsule design Collection to the brand, Scopes

2022 March 1st to May 31st - İstanbul- İst Marina Mall- Art Gallery- Sketch Exhibition

Also, he attended as a guest speaker to many tv programs on TV-EM, TRT-AVAZ, TRT-SCHOOL, TRT-TURKISH, TRT-NEWS

Hasan Koca´s Collections are presented, not only in his own showroom, but also in Gizia Gate and 8 other designer stores which display turkeys leading designers and besides the online shop the brand is also selling in designer stores in New York, Berlin, London and Barcelona. In the time of his career he has worked together with many celebrities such as , Murat Boz, Bergüzar Korel, Didem Soydan, Can Yaman, Gülben Ergen, Kerem Cem, Can Yaman, Birkan Sokullu, Burcu Biricik, Kaan Yıldırım, Demet Evgar, Enis Arıkan, Sarp Apak, and his work has been featured in many tv shows. He continues his collaborations in the fields of fashion design and education projects
